Frankenstein's monster hid in the hovel of a French farm cottage.
He taught himself to speak by
eavesdropping on the family that lived there.
He grew lonely.
One day he knocked on the door
and introduced himself by saying
"Pardon cette intrusion".
He was well received at first
but then things turned out badly.
